Salon Consultation Pro (“we”, “us”) provides web-based consultation software for salon stylists and salon teams. This policy explains what we collect and why. Contact us at hello@salonconsultationpro.com or (614) 414-2294.
Who we are
Salon Consultation Pro is operated from the Columbus, Ohio area. The product website is salonconsultationpro.com.
Information we collect
- Account data. Name, email, password, salon or business name, plan, and role. Passwords are stored by our authentication provider, not in plain text by us.
- Billing data. Subscription status, trial dates, and Stripe customer ID. Card numbers are entered on Stripe’s checkout page. We do not store full card numbers.
- Consultation data you enter. Client name, phone, email, services, formulas, haircut notes, retail notes, lifestyle notes, and before/after photos.
- Messages you send us. Contact, setup, and suggestion forms, including any file you upload with a setup request.
- Basic technical data. Browser and device information needed to run the site, plus security logs from our hosting and payment providers.
How we use it
- To create your login and show your consultations.
- To bill your plan and send account emails, including password resets and stylist invites.
- To respond to support, setup, and product requests.
- To keep the service secure and fix failures.
We do not sell consultation records or client lists.
Your clients’ information
If you are a stylist or salon, you decide what client details to enter. You are responsible for having a lawful reason to store that information and for using it only for the client’s salon services. We host it so you can run your consultations.
Who we share it with
- Google Firebase — login, database, photo storage, and hosting.
- Stripe — subscriptions, trials, invoices, and the billing portal.
- Email delivery — password resets and stylist invite emails.
- Formspree — contact, setup, and suggestion form submissions, which are emailed to us.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and its users.
Photos
Before and after photos are stored in private cloud storage and shown only to signed-in users who are allowed to see that consultation. Do not upload a photo you do not have permission to keep.
How long we keep it
We keep account and consultation data while your subscription is active and for a limited time after cancellation so you can export or reopen it. You can ask us to delete your account and consultations. Billing records may be kept as required for taxes and accounting.
Your choices
You can update your salon name and profile in the app, cancel in the Stripe billing portal, and email us to request access or deletion. Password reset is available on the login page.
Children
The service is for salon professionals. It is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date on this page. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated policy.
